NATIONAL HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH CELEBRATION

Enjoy an afternoon of special activities and performances to celebrate National HIspanic Heritage Month.

The afternoon will include dance performances and lessons, music performances, and table displays, as well as information about the award-winning Latino Documentation Partnership that has worked to identify records and papers documenting the history and contributions of the Latino community in Rochester.

Pamela Cooley, Archivist for the NYS Archives Hispanic Virtual Research Library project, will explain the project and show some of the items in the Sue Costa Archival Collection, which has been donated to the RMSC. This important collection will be represented in the Virtual Research Library project.
