Freedom Under the Stars
Stroll back in time along the "streets of old Rochester" among our historic Rochester period rooms. The date is July 5, 1852, and the dedicated women of the Ladies Antislavery and Sewing Society are welcoming you to the sumptuous buffet they've prepared to support Frederick Douglass and the Abolitionist Cause. Chat with Isaac and Amy Post, local activists who sheltered many freedom seekers on their way to Canada, and meet their friends Sojourner Truth and Mr. Douglass himself. After dinner, adjourn to historic "Corinthian Hall," to witness an original drama performed by the RMSC Players as they bring to life Rochester's historic role in the Underground Railroad. You'll feel history come alive as you become part of this inspiring scene.

Towpath Tales
Join a colorful array of Erie Canal characters as you time travel to 1827 when this amazing new waterway brought commerce, prosperity, and all the accompanying dreamers and scalawags to Rochester, NY -- America's first Boomtown. After enjoying a delicious buffet dinner with the canal folks, you'll be treated to an original comedy/drama performed by the RMSC Players as they bring to life Erie Canal legends, lore, and fun!
